HALLDOROPHONE RESIDENCY ICELAND
SEABORN AND WALFORD!!
Undertaken across Reykjavík and Athens, this project investigated the halldorophone as an experimental instrument for contemporary composition and performance. In collaboration with Halldór Úlfarsson and researchers at the Intelligent Instruments Lab, I developed new work for halldorophone and Renaissance violone, exploring feedback, resonance, and the intersection of historical string practice with electroacoustic experimentation. The project brought together artistic practice, instrument research, and international knowledge exchange, generating new compositions, performances, and research outcomes that continue to inform my creative and academic work.
